A group of MPs of the joint opposition today lodged a complaint with the Bribery Commission against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and former Central Bank governor Arjuna Mahendran over the Central Bank Bond Sale issue.
In their complaint, the MPs requested the Bribery Commission to investigate the controversial scam and the Perpetual Treasuries, the company which is allegedly involved in the scam.
MPs Keheliya Rambukwella, Bandula Gunawardana, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Janaka Bandara Tennakoon, Weerakumara Dissanayaka, Vidura Wickremanayaka, D.V. Chanaka, Kanchana Jayasekara and Vasudewa Nanayakkara arrived at the Commission to lodge the complaint.
