The report of the committee which was appointed to look into the un-parliamentary incidents that took place in the House, is expected to be tabled in the House on February 22, informed sources said yesterday.
The committee which was headed by Deputy Speaker Ananda Kumarasiri, is reported to have found several MPs from the government and the opposition responsible for the incidents that took place in the House on November 15, 16 and 17, 2018.
However, investigations by the CID are still in progress. It was also reported that the CID will take legal action against those who are responsible. (Yohan Perera)
