Import tax on a kilo of Big Onions has been increased from Rs. 25 to 40 with effect from Friday midnight, the Finance Ministry said today.

But the problem is we don't ever see local B onions in the market segregated from any imported ones. It's just B onions and we may be paying the increased price even for local B onions.This isn't fair!
