The Colombo High Court (HC) today released UNP MP Hirunika Premachandra’s passport which was taken into court custody over the Dematagoda abduction case.
MP Premachandra requested the court to release her passport in order to get some documents ready to attend a workshop organised by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.
High Court Judge Shahai Mahendran released the passport till October 8. (Farook Thajudeen)

Does she have no shame to attend such a conference after being part and parcel of an abduction? In any other country she would have been in prison, but here judiciary was manipulated and due to her influence, she escaped non contested technicalities.
