Grace period to pay electricity bills- ministry

Suspend electricity water bills for another 6 months and allow the consumers to pay the 6 month arrears on installment basis over a two year period.

Please pay an allowance for all low income families atleast Rs.50000 per month this is the duty of the government to look after the poor people they lost their day to day income

Electricity bill is a good indicator of one's income. People who's bill is below 1000/- should be given some sort of waiver at least till this situation settles. Beyond 10000/- , they really have the bucks. (This does not apply to illegal homes where one meter feeds about 10 families)

It's a joke to give 7 days grace period, and not even worth giving a media release for this grace period. To encourage people to stay home, govt should give a grace period of 3 - 6 months for electricity, water, telephone, internet. This is a serious matter, govt should consider it seriously.
