Four killed in batta-tuk collision at Thambuttegama

Three adults and a 10-year-old-child had been killed at 8 a. m. this morning when a light truck and a three-wheeler collided head on at Thispanepura, Thambuttegama, the Police said.

All victims were residents of Hurigaswewa, Galnewa.

In addition, four passengers in the lorry were injured and admitted to the Thambuttegama Hospital, according to the Police. (Dayarathna Abogama)

No way, we have 4 million of them and they are a vote bank for the Politicians. This time, overtaking from the left which was to have a fine of Rs. 25,000 was removed bcos of consideration towards the three wheeler vote.

I am not a proponent of out right banning. Look at our public transport which is in a horrible and neglected state. First, improve the public transportation and then talk about banning three wheelers.Also, have very strict exams to issue driving license.
