Four ambulances carrying several COVID-19 patients from the Minneriya Quarantine centre to the Homagama Hospital had crashed at Kandalanda, Homgama this evening.
It was reported that seven ambulances carrying 24 COVID-19 patients, who were tested positive after returning from Kuwait, were on the way to the Homagama Hospital.
No patient has suffered injuries in the crash and they have been admitted to the Homagama Hospital with the intervention of the police. (Priyantha Jayalath)
