Seven women including two Thai national, and a Manager of a brothel which had been operating as an Ayurvedic medical centre in Wellawatta, was arrested in a raid last night.
Police said the Wellawatta Police had carried out the raid on a court order.
They said the arrested women were aged between 25 and 30. They were residents of Kandy, Wariyapola, Padukka, Negambo, Embilipitiya. Police said suspects would be produced at the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court today.
