Consideration of seven Fundamental Rights petitions challenging the election date, commenced for the third consecutive day before a five-judge Supreme Court bench.

The Supreme Court appointed a five-judge bench, led by the Chief Justice to hear the Fundamental Rights petitions filed challenging the election date.

Several Fundamental Rights petitions have been filed challenging the dissolution of Parliament and fixing the General Election date for June 20.
