A Fundamental Rights (FR) petition had been filed in the Supreme Court today against Eastern Province Chief Minister Nazeer Ahamed for allegedly behaving in a discreditable manner during a school function.
The petition was filed by lawyer and activist P. Liyanarachchi. (S.S.Selvanayagam)

it is disgraceful to make judgements like this.look at cm's confession as well. is it fare by governor to attend a school ceremony without a formal approval by the cm who heads the schools. after all, an act of some thing like hand signalling to the cm, do these events cause personnel insult and the respect of his position? come on! be fare to everybody
