The lawyers of Yoshitha Rajapaksa had informed the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) that Yoshitha was unable to report to the FCID today to record statement in connection with a ongoing investigation.

The FCID summoned Yoshitha to appear before the FCID today in connection with the purchase of a land and house located in Mihindu Mawatha in Mount Lavinia and another land in Ratmalana.

The lawyers have informed the FCID that their client was unable to report to FCID due to a personal reason and reported to have sought two weeks time for Yoshitha to appear before FCID. (Darshana Sanjeewa)

This is disgusting. Still this clan asks for special treatment and succeds in getting it. Normal citizens can never behave like that. My3RW should not tolerate that. Do we have to call Ranjan or SF via DM Android App

    Bimal Tuesday, 12 September 2017 08:57 PM

Kottawa Ariyatissa Thero Wednesday, 13 September 2017 10:23 AM

For dis-honoring FCID, Yoshitha should be punished first and sent to Jail.

    Gajang Wednesday, 13 September 2017 11:17 AM

Why hasn’t Ravi K being asked to report and give a statement to the FCID?

Calistus Jayatilleke Wednesday, 13 September 2017 01:10 PM

The funny thing is even under this so called Yahapalanaya, the rogues of the ex-regime and their family members are still so powerful that they can even refuse to face the authorities. This fellow must be so scared now that if he goes to FCID, he will never come back. Even Daisy achchi's bag of gems is not going to help in bailing him out.

Nina Kamal Wednesday, 13 September 2017 01:44 PM

Our system is just spineless with so many behind the vehicle without proper directions! Shame.... Disgusted
