Sri Lanka Air Force personnel of the intelligence service recovered a stock of explosives buried in a forest in the Palampiddi area in Vavuniya today.
Seventy four landmines, six mortar ammos and three hand grenades were among the explosives recovered by the Air Force.
They said the location where the hidden explosives were found had been used as a LTTE bunker during the war. (Wanni Romesh Madusanka)
