The former LTTE cadre has succumbed to his injuries today, following an explosion at his house in Iyakkachchi, Kilinochchi. He was undergoing treatment at the Anuradhapura Hospital.
The 44-year-old sustained serious injuries while he was making a bomb, using an empty canned fish container on July 3.
The Police recovered a flag similar to that of the LTTE, during the search conducted in his house.
The Terrorist Investigation Division has arrested two suspects including the wife of the former LTTE cadre under the Prevention of Terrorism Act in connection with the explosion.
