Ex-IGP’s house robbed

Ex-IGP Victor Perera’s residence in Panadura had been robbed last night and cash and jewellery valued about Rs.1 million taken away.

Police said a security officer had been on guard duty at the front entrance to the house and that the thieves might have entered through the rear door.

Panadura Police are conducting further investigations.(Dayarathne Pathirana)

    Victor Perera former IG's house was burgled earlier too and the theives were apprehended. Is he encouraging theoves to enter his house. .
