Easy for the rogues to scoot with the loot

Spot on Karu! I guess they made Mattala capable of landing AN-225 mriya. That can take the load of two A-380's.

There are many airports around SL which can land an A380. Even Mattala is a possible option.

Why wasn't it diverted to MRIA? The world's best air port! Anyway that's an airport for emergency landing. But luckily for that crew member it landed in BIA. Else he wouldn't have made it on 'guli' alone.

It had an emergency landing, not because of technical defect but due to health issue. If landed in MRIA then you have to handover to undertaker.

A380s landed even before the runway was renovated! Thank Emirates for pumping fuel worth of 72Lakhs from CPC today :D

Last government started the runway widening project and this government (your's may be) finished the work.

What a great airline to make an emergency landing just because one crew member was sick. On our part ours went to pick royal puppies leaving passengers stranded!!

Hmm isn't it second time within a month emirates A380 did a emergency landing because of passenger/crew ill health? This a non stop flight between Dubai and Melbourne? Huray our health professionalism.
