This has now become the norm in srilanka. What a joke this has become where all the elite who goes to prison get sick. This nonsense has to be stopped by the authorities who are responsible.

Upul, Think about it. If the 'authorities' stop this practice of falling ill and being hospitalised, how can they go into hospital when their turn arrives (inevitably)?

I wonder how those people were living if not breathing, whenever they are prosecuted they are diagnosed with life threatening illnesses. But when they were doing all the misdeeds they were more than fit enough to do them all.

How come a person get sick immediately after a remand order...? Who are the doctors certifying them to be hospitalised...? As citizens we have so many questions over this issue. This country needs a complete clean up...! from top to bottom. What a corrupted judiciary we have in Sri Lanka. No wonder to get accusations from the west...

IF I WAS THE DOCTOR IN CHARGE , I WOULD PRESCRIBE THEM TO BE TAKEN TO ANGODA HOSPITAL OR THE CANCER HOSPITAL.

Those in Police should be fit. If they are not medically fit they cannot be in the Police, if that's the case how did these 2 get attack in their heart ?

Come on give us a break. Pls remove the name "Welikada Prison Hospital" Then there won't be news items saying so and so admitted to the Prison Hospital.
