Two military intelligence officers who were in remand custody in connection with the disappearance of Prageeth Eknaligoda were granted bail by the Avissawella High Court today.
High Court Judge Amal Thilakaratna released the fourth and fifth suspects on a cash bail of Rs. 1 million and two sureties of Rs.3 million.
Earlier, four military intelligence officers who were in remand custody for over nine months in connection with the journalist’s disappearance were also released on bail.
