A school van driver had been arrested in Piliyandala for consuming liquor, while transporting fifteen school children, the Police said.
The Police said the 40-year-old driver had been after noticing an alcoholic smell coming from the van by Traffic Policeman in front of a certain school.
The driver, who is under Police custody, would be produced in court tomorrow, the Police said. (Bimal Shaman Jayasinghe)
