Former State Minister Sujeewa Senasinghe yesterday said the government should take legal actions against the parties responsible for Easter Sunday Attack without making a politically motivated farce out of the attack.
He said the government keep reminiscing about the Easter Sunday attacks in order to gain political benefits in the upcoming elections and using the Easter Sunday Attack Commission to fulfil their narrow political gains.
“They are trying to bring up the Easter Sunday Attacks with hopes of winning the General Elections similar to how they won the presidential election. But you shouldn’t make a farce out of the innocent people’s suffering,” he said. (Thisari Walawege)

It is pathetic that a person like Sujeewa is contesting for the elections and point his fingers to others sometimes calling them thieves. He wrote a book absolving Central Bank looters, put foot notes on COPE committee report, was on phone with enteal Bank accusers while particiipating the COPE committee and receiving 3 million rupees from Arjun Aloesius who was one of the most important accused of Central Bank heist.
