Curfew temporarily lifted except for 8 districts

The police curfew in the country has been lifted at 6 am today except in eight districts and will re-imposed 2 pm today.

Last Friday, the government imposed police curfew covering the entire country until 6 am on Monday. Later the government decided to extended the curfew in eight districts- Colombo, Gampha, Puttalam, Mannar, Vavuniya, Mullaitivu, Kilinochchi and Jaffna districts- until 6 am tomorrow (24).

    The six hour lifting of the curfew is definitely going to increase the number of positives. I say this after watching and listening of the most third class and irresponsible mentality and attitudes of the average Sri Lanka. They are a disgrace.
