Covid-19 recoveries exceed 1,000

Sixty-seven more COVID-19 infected patients were recovered and discharged from hospitals today increasing the total number of recovered patients in Sri Lanka to 1,057, the Health Ministry said.

The ministry said that a total of 789 patients are still under medical care at hospitals.

Meanwhile, 41 more naval personnel infected with Covid-19 were recovered and discharged today bringing the recovered number to 563.

    Why the government doesn't give the active number of cases in the country? Also the number of tests carried out?
