Government has imposed strict regulations on safety measures of vehicles imported but not sure why three-wheelers not in that unsafe list. Every day these death traps causing many deaths due to accidents. Unfortunately responsible people only care about how much they get as a commission from the importers.

Three wheeler's are the most deadly vehicle on a public road in Sri Lanka. Even the state that produce three wheelers wont allow them to be operated by mass numbers like we see here. Only other country that has higher numbers of the deadly vehicle is Bangladesh (another country with no strict environment regulations) It is a gross polluter of environment and when combined with the driver who is only concern of themselves it becomes even catastrophic not only to those who are walking on the side of the road but to those who pay to ride one.

Easy for you to say when you have a nice comfy car, selfish man, I'm sure you would shout yourself hoarse if taxes on cars are increased wouldn't you?

Look at the pic ? the three wheeler has struck the woman who was walking in the SAME DIRECTION as the movement of the three wheeler. The driver is guilty of murder and now making a fairy-tail that the woman was crossing the road. All bull ... just drive at a safe speed where you have the control of the vehicle you drive.
