The Constitutional Council (CC) has approved the appointment of Saman Sri Ratnayake as the Commissioner General of the National Elections Commission, the Speaker’s Office said today. (YP)

In developed countries elections are conducted with the help of volunteers with minimum cost. Here in Srilanka, still a developing country, officials after officials are appointed wasting public money.
