A 73-year-old Buddhist monk at the Sri Wijaya Dharmananda Piriwena in Kosgoda was hacked to death, the Police said.
They said the body of the monk with cut wounds was found inside the temple premises this morning following information.
No one had been arrested and the Kosgoda Police is investigating.
