"BBS demand release of Gnansara Thera" - When a case is pending, has BBS the right to "DEMAND". ? Can this also be construed as going against the judiciary , and therefore "contempt of court" ?

No matter what religious dignitary it is or what religion he or she belongs to, that person should be punished according to the law for any wrongdoings.
