Australia hit a world record 263 against Sri Lanka in today's Twenty20 international in Pallekele, with Glenn Maxwell hitting an unbeaten 145.

The total broke a nine-year record held by Sri Lanka, who scored 260 against Kenya in 2007. (AFP)

I think the Australian selectors got it wrong picking the weakest team for the test series and a stronger unit for the ODI's and the T20's.

Australia is a much better team than Sri Lanka, they had a hick up in their test series as the weather was too hot and our guys couldnt simply handle the heat.
