Doesn't that prove that he has NO justification for the case and he is GUILTY?

Ronnie Bugger Thursday, 14 September 2017 12:03 PM

A law unto himself. The Presidential Commission says he must and that's an order. If he won't let him face the music, simple.

The courts should also tell him that when convicted he will not be allowed to appeal or enter hospital.

Lord Wolfstein Thursday, 14 September 2017 01:34 PM

Does ASG Dappula de Livera not know the laws of the country? In a democratic system of justice one does not have to make a statement where could be even the smallest danger to accuse itself of a criminal offense.

    Rubert Thursday, 14 September 2017 02:37 PM

So if the culprit is unwilling to speak, the case has to be closed, is it? That's the 5-star democracy.

    Mandy Thursday, 14 September 2017 04:04 PM

That is why Ravi K said he knows nothing in rder not to commiit himself. All proof therefore must come from witnesses and documents.

    Premalal Friday, 15 September 2017 06:40 AM

Why not get Ravi's wife and daughter. Why not get Ravi's wife and daughter? According to Ravi they know everything.

All culprits are the same; not cooperating with the investigation is a clear sign that he is deliberately withholding factual information.

    Rubert Thursday, 14 September 2017 02:39 PM

So for months and months, they are investigating a scam talking to everybody but the culprit, wasting the tax payers few bucks? We did this kind of drama when we were kids.

    Sofa Thursday, 14 September 2017 04:06 PM

This is not a court of law but only fact finding to charge formally later. Big difference. You cannt avoid court summons but here you can refuse to commit yourself.

Everyone is talking about Arjun Aloysius, and his uncle Mahendran !! What about Ranil the PM who brought these jokers to SL to do the scam. Ranil said he takes full responsibility when he appointed this rogue to be the Governor of the BoC. It is time Ranil and President Maithripala come clean and take responsibility for their part in the fraud.

    gamini Friday, 15 September 2017 08:54 AM

Aloysius was not brought by Ranil. He is Namal Rajapakse's friend and during Caabral's time as the CB Governor together they issued him the license. All EPF funds were invested in the stock exchange through this Aloysius on the instructions of Namal Rajapakse

    shanthapriya Friday, 15 September 2017 10:08 AM

dont tell that. we have the best PM in most wise man of all the time. He will never make a bad selection to a top spot of the SL govt. He knows the imporatance of having a correct person to such institution. He is such a wise person

    Sharon Thursday, 14 September 2017 04:52 PM

Very weak legal systems, loop holes, political stooges and encouraging high scale corruption has made innocent Srilankan public to suffer and pay heavily for the corrupt pockets. Until a new generation of politicians arise this country is will always suffer. Lighting lamps, breaking coconuts, going regularly to temples, kovils, churches or mosques is not good enough, Your first Religion should be honesty.

    Sambo Friday, 15 September 2017 09:17 AM

This will be washing lot of laundry in public which will stink the entire country.

Silly ass Friday, 15 September 2017 10:37 AM

Can't remember, Don't know, Won't talk !! Sri lankan syndrome?

    Rasheed Friday, 15 September 2017 11:30 AM

In that case, what the use of appointing a commission. He is the main culprit. Just waste of time and public money.
