Exactly..!!!..If the JVP is allowed to commemorate their '89 'heors' similar rights should be extended to LTTE carders.

TNA MP Shanthi Skandarajah and the Tamil people in NP who consider LTTE terrorist suicide bombing murderers as war heroes? Any family member of these murderers has the right to visit a cemetery and pay their personal respects to their kith or kin. However they have no right to commemorate the deaths of these disgusting terrorists in public.

JVP is allowed commemorated their butchers twice a year. One in April and one in November. Even though the LTTE is banned, I believe those people should be allowed commemorate their dead.

LTTE like all other Tamil Militant groups were insanely jealous of the Middle Class Hindu Tamils and killed or exiled them. LTTE are war heroes only to their Caste and to the Catholics and to no other Tamils .

Yes we should commemorate the WAR heros in the north but not the LTTE. It should be every sri lankan solider who laid their life to protect the country in Muhamalai, Alimankada, Kilinocchi, Mullathiv, Pooneryn in the east, south and west.

Define the term 'War Hero' - answer - one who has laid down his/her life for the sake of the Country. These are bloody terrorists who wreaked havoc for 30 years just to satisfy one egoistic maniac. If these terrorists are considered to be War Hero's, yes, please go ahead.

The definition for war heroes is people who fight for a course to achieve their goal sacrificing their life .This was committed by both Sinhala army and Tamil tigers all of whom were youngsters so they resorted to terrorism as well to attain their mission though it is not acceptable . Let them pray to God ,no harm so long as no trouble is engaged in for anybody .No point of grumbling , nothing wrong .Prevention is steering emotion , if you do not care nothing harm will happen .
