Colombo Additional Magistrate Chandima Wijebandra refused to issue an order to halt a protest by the Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) against the South Asian Institute of Management and Medicine (SAITM).

    Protests are a part of democracy and should be allowed. However these should be for a reasonable cause. Need to think of the hundreds of thousands of people living and coming to Colombo for work and so many other things.
