49 UPFA MPs support MR in K’gala

A total 49 UPFA MPs participated in the rally held in Kurunegala yesterday in support of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, while some speakers who addressed the meeting said 57 UPFA MPs were at the meeting.

The MPs who participated were Dinesh Gunawardena, Wimal Weerawansa, Vasudeva Nanayakkara,  T.B. Ekanayake, Saranath Basnayake, Salinda Dissanayake, Geethanjana Gunawardena, Jayarathna Herath, Ranjith Soysa, Mohan Silva, V.K. Indika, Chamika Buddadasa, Manusha Nanayakkara, Thenuka Vidanagamage, Lohan Ratwatte, Nishantha Mutuhettigama, Arundika Fernando, Sriyani Wijewickrama, Roshan Ranasinghe, P.A. Muthukumarana, Sarath Kumara Gunarathne, Rohana Dissanayake, Y.G. Padmasiri, Sarath Weerasekera, Abdul Cader, Janaka Bandara, Sarana Gunawardena, Shehan Semasinghe, Gamini Lokuge, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Dullas Alahapperuma, Rohitha Abeygunawardane, G.L. Pieris, Jagath Balasuriya, Weerakumara Dissanayake, S.M. Chandrasena, Bandula Gunawardena, Jayantha Ketagoda, Kamala Ranatunga, Malani Fonseka, Janaka Wakkumbura, Kumara Welgama, Nilawala Wijesinghe, Jagath Balasuriya, Tissa Vitharana, Dilum Amunugama, Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Uditha Lokubandara and  Prabha Ganeshan
Former Provincial Governors Thissa R. Balalla, Alawi Maulana, Tikiri Kobbekaduwa, former North Central Province Chief Minister S.M. Ranjith, Western Province Chief Minister Prasanna Ranatunga and 56 Western Provincial Councillors, 18 from the North Central Province, and 27 from the Southern Province were also among the participants.

MPs Dinesh Gunawardena, Wimal Weerawansa, Vasudena Nanayakkara, T.B. Ekanayake, Bandula Gunawardena and Western Provincial Councillor Udaya Gammanpila and several others spoke at the meeting, which was attended by a large crowd at the Welagedara grounds.(Sujith ewajulige)

    Whether it is 49 or 57 all these UPFA MPs have no future in Sri Lanka. Since they are not suitable to do any other job they will have to live the rest of their lives with the money amassed by being rogues of the previous government or they will have to stay at Walikada.
