48-year-old swept away by currents in Wattarama

A 48-year-old man died after being swept away by the currents in Wattarama, Kegalle in the early hours of today, police said.

The victim who was swept away by the currents near the Canal Road, was rescued by the residents and admitted to the Polgahawela Hospital.

He was pronounced dead after being admitted to the hospital.

    Other countries, including some poor countries use safety cables to transfer electricity with one wire technology which was introduced 20 years back. I think we can use the same cable when we transfer the electricity from one place to another.
