They only have the weekend to do it. CEB is very famous for that. We can take a bath from govt bathroom and wash our cloths at govt laundry...Water board and CEB still think that people are getting aids from them.

Great! Now the rains are over. Next, it will be a 36 hour Power cut or more.
sltk2004 Thursday, 27 January 2011 01:33 PM
I remember that some years back when there was power outage or a strike by CEB, we have problems with water also. At that time the relevant minister said that he would set up generators at water plants so that in future water supply is not affected by power problems. Seems this has not happened as usual.
Leaving aside what that minister said, the officials at these utility organizations should have a vision to make these changes.
Cobra Thursday, 27 January 2011 12:27 PM
People complain that these utility services are not maintained properly(Water/Electricity etc.) and therefore if such maintenance have to be carried out interruptions occur. But what boggles my mind is that they are not paced out in such a way as to make it less inconvenient to consumers who pay through their noses for these facilities. 36 hours? Impunity has leaked in to every sphere of our lives!!
