A total of 133 Sri Lankans who were stranded in Coimbatore, India had arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this afternoon, BIA duty Manager said.
He said the SriLankan Airlines flight UL 1194 had departed from India this morning with a crew of seven members.
All those arrived would be sent to quarantine centres with the support of the Sri Lankan army, he added. (T.K.G. Kapila)

All for taxpayer money. These students all had the opportunity to come back with normal scheduled flights at the beginning of the pandemic because the BIA was closed much too late. But, as is common with Sri Lankans, they cannot look ahead and everything is only done in the last second.
