MPs Dullas Alahapperuma, Bandula Gunawardane, Gamini Lokuge, Jayantha Ketagoda and Sarath Weerasekara, WPC Chief Minister Prasanna Ranatunga, Provincial Councillor Udaya Gammanpila and 27 others have been ordered to appear before the Court by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court on May 8 on charges of Contempt of Court.

The MPs yesterday staged a protest outside the Commission for Investigating allegations of Corruption and Bribery despite a Court order preventing the protest. (Kurulu Koojana Kariyakarawana)
