MR may contest as UPFA candidate, but SLFP will not fully back him. He is too shrewd a politician to enter the fray under such a risk.He will first try to down grade MS and CBK and cause SLFP to disintegrate. This could possibly happen with the disunity currently prevailing in the party, as MS and CBK are unable to give strong leadership.

MS made severe allegations against the former regime under MR and he is well aware of all corruptions and billions robbed. In spite of his promisses to the masses to punish the thieves no action so far. Now he welcomes MR to contest the next election under SLFP. No doubt the international community will consider MS to be the biggest joker. Also no sensible person will come forward to invest in Sri Lanka. Hon. PM Ranil is only wasting his time and energy trying to build the economy of Sri Lanka.

If a Company Executive is fired for mismanagement and corruption charges, no where in the World we have heard of such an individual trying his/her best to rejoin the same Company on a lower level. If the shameless, two time Ex President who amended the Constitution to stay in power for ever, gets kicked out on contesting the third term and wish to return to the Parliament on a lower level, he should give up all the privileges including security, he enjoys as a Ex President, to contest at the Parliamentary Elections.
