Beautifully crafted from metal and glass and with first-of-its-kind technology, the Samsung GALAXY S6 and GALAXY S6 edge define the future of mobility. The launch of new phones offers Sri Lankan consumers the ultimate smartphone experience with a new standard to drive the global mobile agenda, with cutting-edge design, a robust partner network and novel services.
The Samsung R&D team has been involved in the development of the S6 devices with many engineers involved in the application and modem processor software development that makes the S6 device the most powerful smartphone in the world today. Expert engineers in Multimedia have helped enhance the camera experience in S6 with HDR, Out focus, Virtual Shot and video highlights.
In addition, a large part of internet browser, personalized themes and fast speeds with download boosters that combine LTE and WiFi data for apps have been developed and built by the R& D team.

The new Samsung GALAXY S6 will be revealed to the people of Sri Lanka at Samsung Day, a day-long event offering families a platform for fun and entertainment on 28 March, 10.00 a.m. onwards at Arcade Independence Square in Colombo. The Samsung GALAXY S6 is priced at Rs. 114,990 while GALAXY S6 edge is available at an attractive price of Rs. 134,990
The GALAXY S6 and GALAXY S6 edge will be available in Sri Lanka from mid April 2015 with 32GB storage available in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum. Green Emerald (GALAXY S6 edge only) and Blue Topaz (GALAXY S6 only) will be made available later in April with 32GB storage.
