It is common knowledge that some security guards have cultivated the habit of taking a nap while on their feet at their posts.

Incidentally, a higher-up of the Maithri regime seems to have mastered the ‘trick’ of catching a shut-eye while in the thick of a serious discussion.

The other day, the higher-up of the regime was at a discussion with a delegation of small tea holders. Their main grievance was that they were finding it difficult to sell their green leaf at the guaranteed price of Rs.85 a kilo. When the discussion was proceeding, the higher-up who was in the chair was seen dozing off.
He suddenly woke up and announced that he would appoint a committee to look into the matter and called it a day.
