President to visit UK on March 7

President Maithripala Sirisena is scheduled to visit the United Kingdom on March 7, Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe said during an interview with the BBC.

He said the President had also been invited to a luncheon hosted by the Queen on March 11.

Why would anyone consider that going to UK is a big thing for a Sri Lankan President or even for a normal citizen.UK is a bankrupt country and some Sri Lankans think that going to UK is a big thing. MR was not a puppet and did not listen to them. If he did , the LTTE would have been still around, no development in the country etc etc.

Hey anybody here could elaborate why all hell broke loose when MR went there or for that matter any western country...And in all those protests and massive demonstrations there were hardly any whites blacks or any other, other than the folks and their ilk who fled this country.And if MS is not interrupted then somethings sure aint right!!
