This southerner excelled in the game he played which brought him a worldwide reputation. Now a member of Diyawanna council, he is said to be unhappy that he could not do anything worthwhile for the people of his native place.

Meanwhile, a story coming down the grapevine says that this Diyawanna member, a flamboyant playboy once, has decided to cross the great divide following in the footsteps of his great mentor who is now in the thick of the battle to usher in a Maithri rule.
