The Public Relations Minister Mervyn Silva said at a meeting held at the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Head Office in Kiribathgoda that he has decided to resign, temporarily, from the post of Organiser of the Kelaniya electorate at the behest of the President.
He said that former provincial councillor and Gampaha District Organiser Shalika Wijesooriya would act as the new Organiser for Kelaniya.
