Vithanage is currently studying at the University of Kelaniya and works as a part-time PR Manager. Her modelling career began in 2011 as a hobby and rapidly evolved, taking her to greater heights. In 2013, she represented the country at the Miss Tourism 2013 contest in Jakarta and stardom thereafter changed her life. Alongside her studies, she still works as a professional model and participates in a variety of charity initiatives.
