Malaka Silva, son of Minister Mervyn Silva has been hospitalized following a brawl at a night club at Duplication road, Kollupitiya in the early hours today, Police said.

Initial reports said that following a heated argument between a Scottish man and Mr. Silva the brawl was taken place injuring both of them at around 3 am today. A police complaint has been lodged by a friend of Mr. Silva about the incident, they said.

Meanwhile, the Scottish man was also reportedly badly injured during the brawl and admitted to a hospital with several head injuries.
