Two suspects were arrested by the Kalpitiya Police last evening with 630 kilogrammes of banned dried fish imported from India by boat, police said.
They said the 31-year-old and 46-year-old suspects were arrested with 130 kilogrammes of dried sea horse and 500 kilogrammes of shark fins in their possession.
The suspects, who are residents of Palliwasalthurei in Kalpitiya, would be produced before the Puttalam Magistrate today.

Mangoes are wonderful fruit sold well in millions in UK. Still in 2016 it was banned because of chemical found on it ripped it. Last year Curry leaves were found the same fate. The greedy Indians actions causes these bans and in a way our products exports suffers too.
