The fact is no Western nation nor any other major nation has any regard or respect for Sri Lanka. Only consolation for Sri Lanka is as it is not a Muslim country,it is not looked upon with any suspicion. With no industrial or scientific base but only focusing in building hotels and worshiping the white visitors would not gain any respect nor make it any richer.

Non of those you say will not be of their concern. What matters to them is the amount they get, facilities they are entitled to and finally how much they can when they get Back home. This is what happens in reality.

Whatever you say will those appointees listen or take the blame for their failures? Do not ever think general public are set of fools. All politicas(asses) will earn their fortune and wipe out the image of this country. In generations to come will curse all politicas graves.

As the President of the country you should mention 10 positive things about investing in SL. Where's the country stability, corruption and commission is the only way forward. So unfortunate for SL not having a Leader with guts

As someone who works in the service about half of the names are from the service. I have worked in 5 missions and most do with the very little pay they get. FS grade1 salary is around 90,000 SLR with everything. While the ambassador allowance is around 3500 USD. Other officers earn while in service 1000 - usd to 2500. In a western nation this is not luxury.
