    Shevan Sunday, 08 July 2018 11:48 AM

Yes it is coz of Yahapalanaya that thing like this are getting caught. During the last regime we can remember who got caught with a container full of drugs but nothing happened to them

    Nimal Sunday, 08 July 2018 12:36 PM

I would say HATS OFF TO යහපාලනය!During the last regime Police Narcotic Bureau was stifled and they were not allowed to do their duty. Case in point is the president personally rescuing a known drug seller/politico in Negombo.

Can anybody tell me what will happen to arrested narcotcs? We always hear such arrests but do not know what will happen to them. When illegal CD or tusks piled up they are destroyed on the public at least we had seen once. But never heard of narcotics being destroyed. Are they being suffered back to dealers?

    JIM Sunday, 08 July 2018 05:29 PM

OF COURSE IT GETS BACK TO THE DEALERS AND PRODUCTION TURNS TO TALCUM OR FLOUR.

    Jaliya Sunday, 08 July 2018 10:17 AM

This is the drug hub of Asia. It is beyond any one's guess how did these individuals manage to receive such large amount of drugs without any support and consent of state authority ?

When people get arrested with drugs never publish the names, it seems something fishy

Sri Lanka has become a major transit point for narcotics from the growing areas of Afghanistan, Pakistan to the West.

Jagath Leanage Sunday, 08 July 2018 10:41 AM

Now , Srilanka has become "drug hub" and its a "drug trafficking" point . Very sad.

Great job done PNB.. You have saved thousands of youngster's lives who would have subjected to new exposures.

    Neville Sunday, 08 July 2018 12:00 PM

Master mind behind the scene will be left out for sure. Two individuals cannot be the only people responsible for this as it is a very large quantity- will wait and see what is next!

    Mandy Sunday, 08 July 2018 10:09 PM

Wait and nothing to see. These are just peddlers small sprats. The Police and PNB never go up the ladder questioning who gave these drugs to sell. They are happy and laughing - so is Police and PNB.
