we can see the brutality of northern tamils .

Jothi Pala Sunday, 24 June 2018 07:17 PM

Perumal, you are so ignorant, there are no tigers in the wild in Sri Lanka, there is a big difference between a leapard and a tiger. This is a protected animal in S/L and the culprits needs to be punished. As for your freinds Pirbaharan he was a terrorist.

We could have avoided human animal conflict, if the human settlements were properly planned and the animal population is controlled. It is better to be born as animal in Srilanka, as an animal's death is higher profile than that of the human's.

Better to move out of our homes in to jungles , allowing stray dogs and wild animals to inhabit our homes as animals are more important than Humans.Funny state of affairs.

    Tin Sunday, 24 June 2018 12:05 PM

Animals are equally important as humans, specially an indigenous animal such as this leopard.

    Jamalji Sunday, 24 June 2018 12:22 PM

Public invited Police, wild life officers an veterinary surgeon. Nothing happened. It was a dangerous and carnivorous animal. How many crocodiles were killed and paraded.

this is an easy case to deal with by police and politician to gain popularity! people in hatton complaining for months control stray leopard but no one took any action.

For the voiceless Sunday, 24 June 2018 12:53 PM

That's good news. Please arrest everyone involved. Sad that we still live among uneducated people with average or little intelligence...judging from the foolish, heartless comments. Be careful. You reap what you sow

    Criminal Sunday, 24 June 2018 01:45 PM

Oh hell ! Lasantha , Thajudeen ,Raviraj and many more were killed in broad day light and our judiciary system has been failed to brought those culpripts before juctice . °_°

    Dee Sunday, 24 June 2018 03:07 PM

Judging by most comments it's evident that most people don't know what wildlife us. All they seem to be knowing is a concrete structure and a roof on a cement floor. And they feel every square KM of earth should be like it. And all that lives in it are animals called 'humans'. Obviously such comments are from people whos parents have not even taken to a zoo, leave alone a national park. Sad. But such people seem to have studied (for free) and seem to be able to use PC's and give daft comments.

    Jesus Sunday, 24 June 2018 04:02 PM

If the culprits are Buddhist they will be free n if they were any of the minority they will get maximum pusnishment .

    Jokers Sunday, 24 June 2018 07:04 PM

What a joke. This wild animal mauled ten people. If one had died the response would have been different. SL will never improve. Provide protection for human beings. Don't even attempt to kill a snake in your house. The police and minister will come to arrest you.
