Police used water cannons to disperse the protesting unemployed graduates at the Lotus Roundabout a short while ago. The graduates were protesting urging the government to provide them with employment opportunities. (Indika Sri Aravinda)

There are thousands of opportunities out there. But you guys simply won't fit in. You just want 'Rajaye rekiya' ! Never to earn a decent living. Just to bluff saying you are a 'graduate' with a ba or bsc. Unfortunately now even potential arrange marriages won't fall for it.
