If the suspects are proved to be the killers of Tusker Dalapoottuwa, they should be treated as Mass Murderers and punished through Court of law. They should be punished in such a way so that the killers of innocent wild animals must feel the heat.

The whole country has one voice on this. Give maximum punishment to those who have committed this heinous crime. The tusker is a national heritage. They destroyed something belongs to our children.Amend laws if the punishments are inadequate. This should be considered a treason.

Quote : " Body found near the 'SORROW' Wewa ". Name of the lake itself describes the deep distress felt by all Sri Lankans. They must be punished with RI. I hear many of them are government servants ! What a twin tragedy !!

May they be cursed for this horrible act. Also why such a highly vulnerable elephant with blindness and precious tusks and a history of attempted killing was let loose and unprotected is evidence of serious neglect by the authorities concerned. the whole tragedy reminds me of the famous poem "The whale, his bulwark" by Derek Walcott. So tragic!

Mr President / Mr Minister It is unimaginable that these crimes are taking place in this country and other countries protect their national pride. The culprits should be shot dead for destroying national treasures and innocent animals. Our laws are ineffective and criminals had taken law into their hands. Please please do not let these crimes happen again.

The highest form of punishment should be given. Even those who ordered the Wigalawe Tusker to be moved and was killed in the process in 2010 should be arrested and punished in the same manner. But can't do cause of restraining order against trial and arresting .

these inhuman activities cannot be stopped if these villains are not give the correct punishments. money greedy pufthas must be send to jail for 10 years with rigorous imprisonment as a precedent to others. whoever do any criminal act like this should be given very lengthy imprisonment, then only these Suckers learn a lesson not to kill animals at their will to become rich Buffalos
