A voluptuous one visited a sexually transmitted disease clinic at a general hospital in the periphery about a fortnight ago.

The doctor to whom the young girl was referred to, invited her to take the seat opposite him and asked her to explain the symptoms of the disease.

The young one who cringed and squirmed took a long time to stammer out the details the doctor wanted to know.

Finding that she had contracted a serious venereal disease, the doctor questioned her about her sex life. The girl convinced of the gravity of her disease gradually overcame her shyness and came out with the names of all her sex contacts who included well known cinema and tele-actors and leading businessmen.

On being asked whether there were well-known politicians as well among her sex contacts, she had come out with the name of a senior purohita from a main political party.

According to the details revealed by the young one, the politician in question hailing from a distant part of the country is a virtual bachelor and his family too is closely connected to politics.

Giving publicity to this news is totally violation of fundamental human rights of a patient. 1. First, it is a violation of patient's confidentiality. The doctors, (no matter how superior he or she is , as they think), have no rights to reveal the disease which a patient has been suffering from, without patient's consent. Therefore this News paper should disclose the name of the doctor and produce a complaint to police regarding the offence that doctor has committed. That is how other developed countries do.2. Secondly, this news paper has violated basic ethics of journalism. Although you have been given the freedom for writing, there are well defined boundaries. You are not allowed to write everything although you want. or you like. You have to perform your journalism, keeping every thing within the boundaries that civilized world accepts. This news has brutally violated world wide accepted norms. Because of dirty politics, you take all opportunities for mud slinging.

This story is justified given the greater public good obviously intended. It serves as a warning to politicians to be on good behaviour and to young women to think twice before getting involved in illicit affairs with politicians. People expect their representatives to have a sense of moral rectitude!
