India beat Sri Lanka by 304 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the three-Test series.

Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets each as India cruised to an easy win at Galle. Set a target of 550, Sri Lanka crumbled for 245 with only Dimuth Karunaratne offering any resistance with a well-made 97.

Earlier in the day, Virat Kohli slammed his 17th century as India declared at 240/3.

Congratulations INDIA on your huge win over Sri Lanka. I am sure good teams in the future will avoid playing against weak teams such as Sri Lanka. We should stop playing cricket fro about 3 years and practice more.
